Outside magazine named Minneapolis as one of “America’s best cities,” according to its August 2009 issue.
Minneapolis was ranked eighth out of the 100 most-populated cities in the country. According to Outside, Minneapolis achieved this ranking thanks to its affordability, education, diversified economy, and year-round outdoor recreational opportunities.
